This album is horrible, beats without melody, they just seem to be noises to me…
I was talkin bout cudi as if he was the new messias or sth,now i feel like a fool. Wooww, ive never been dissapointed by an album as much as right now. I see some folks in here can’t hear what makes this album special, guess they like listening to lil wayne. Nothing too great, but it’s something to blaze too, I guess. Wow…so disappointed with this album thought it would be way better but this dude needs to get back to the man on the moon days and quickĪ few good tracks. I mean that duet with Haim are you kidding me? People who are objective about music prepare to be disappointing by what shoulda have been Cudi’s promised return to form. Cudi’s beats also suffer from average at best quality. II and King Wizard are the only Hip-Hop tracks and thats mostly just because the features. Beez, Just What I am, Brothers, Solo Dolo Pt. This is not a Hip-Hop album its a Pop album get it right. Lol at geb are you forgeting king wizard and just what i am and girls ur cray for not seeing that kid cudi just droped one of the best albums ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope he “returns to form” with the next Man on the Moon album. Immortal, Unfuckwittable, Beez, Brothers, and Cold blooded have their moments but nothing even came close to blowing me away.
Just what I am is definitely the best song imo and even that pales in comparison to my favourite cudi songs. Solo dolo 2 sucks compared to the original and the michael bolton track seemed promising but was a 9 minute track of repetition and occasional sounds that seemed to go for a pink floyd approach but really failed. I have accepted that Cudi wants to evolve, but for me, he’s devolving and the lack of melody and the usually weak lyrics kill it for me. This doesn’t even come close to end of day. It’s basically the experimentation of wzrd combined with some of the weaker lyricism and discordant ambience beats of his oldest material. I think this album is garbage considering it’s 18 songs and offers very few songs I would consider “good” by cudi’s standards. How the fuck is this out? Its not released until the 23rd The album received mixed reviews from critics.Uaaa!!! God bless April the 8th for all those leaks With sales of 139,000 copies and debuted at number 32 on the UK Albums Chart, becoming Cudi's highest-charting album on the chart, while entering at number two on the UK R&B Chart. Indicud debuted at number two in the United States. The album features guest appearances from King Chip, Kendrick Lamar, Too Short, RZA, ASAP Rocky, Father John Misty, Michael Bolton and Haim.ĭuring the early release of Indicud, it was preceded by four singles – "Just What I Am", "King Wizard", "Immortal" and "Girls". The album's record production was handled entirely by Cudi as well, with only record producer Hit-Boy co-producing one track, while Cudi's WZRD bandmate Dot da Genius, provided drums on two. He described it as a completely new format compared to his previous albums. It was Cudi's goal to make more uptempo and positive music with the album. The album's cover artwork was designed by Kid Cudi himself, who also served as an executive producer of Indicud. It was the first album of Cudi's solo career to not be an installment of his Man on the Moon series. It was released on April 12, 2013, by GOOD Music, Wicked Awesome Records, and Republic Records.
